PWsoft presents: Minimood!

As a Moodmixer user you have probably come across him already a few times. Occcasionally he shows up in the user manual in the daily tipps or here on some of our webpages.

His name is : Minimood

Minimood has been with us almost as long as we've been working on the Moodmixer software.

We always knew, that we needed a bit more than a smoothly running software - in fact we also needed a friend.

We were very lucky, because neither of us is capable of inventing a new friend. But our developer's son could - he is a genius when it comes to inventing new friends. His name is Jon Fischer. Jon can draw- I would visit his webpage if I were you! And Jon invented our friend Minimood!

On the left you can see a picture of his first draft. Would you believe that this brilliant artist was only 12 years old when he drew this?

It seems as this was ages ago.

The next step was, that our developer himself had a go at Minimood. He thought it might be a lot nicer if Minimood was in 3d!

So he spent hours and hours with the development of our friend and not with the development of our software.

Look at the left to see the result. He already looked pretty cute, didn't he?

The funny thing with friends is - they grow- or at least they want to grow.

First they want to become 3-dimensional, then they want to move and finally they even want to speak up!

But you do make wishes come true sometimes - at least you would try to, if it was your friend, wouldn't you?

So we had another go at him - this time it took really long until we came up with a "friendly" version.

On the left you can see a few development stages.

This is one of our latest results - finally Minimood can move and speak- still a bit edgy and he sounds a bit weird too. Most of the time he is running around in his Moodmixer-world, pulling the sliders on his Mixer and listening to his perfect Mix- like you when you are using your Moodmixer.

But sometimes he goes out and meets people like you- guess what he says.
