| As in the database maintenance the same applies to the saving and restoring of the database:
| Moodmixer has its own automatic Backup-system but before one makes changes to the database on a larger scale ( mass profiling or changing of ID-Tags etc) it is advised to save the database manually beforehand because you can only always redo the last made change to the database.
| A backup can be made via the menu option [Database -save database] or the Icon |
| Restoring a backup is conducted via the menu option [Database -restore database]. In this case the existing database will be replaced by the backup.
| G Attention! If the usersettings have been deleted - one has to restore the database manually because Moodmixer doesn't know anymore where the backup file is located!
| In this case one simply looks for any kind of _MMBkup.mdb file( Attention: don't forget the underscore _ in front!). You might finde several files if you had set the programm settings to [daily backup] . If it had been set to [weekly backup] there will be just one. If the backup option had been set to [manually] you just have to hope hat you have made a backup lately. Assuming there is a possible backup file, this _MMBkup.mdb has to be copied back to the main folder of Moodmixer and renamed to MM.mdb .
| After this operation Moodmixer will start properly again.
