| To speed up any kind of conducted search in the database, the program produces index tables. Depending on how often records are being edited, deleted,or new ones added, the database fills up with lots of additional index entries- many of them superflous after some time.

| Moodmixer can conduct an automatic clean up .
|
| If, though errors happen, or conducted searches are becoming very slow, then its time to manually do the cleanup.
|
|
|
|

Simply select the menu option [Database - Database cleanup] or the icon  in the task bar.
|
|
|
| If error messages occur then it can help instantly to delete the user settings via
|
| [Database- delete user settings] - the user settings save information about - the window size which is being saved once the program closes, the column widths and column heads as well as the last conducted search which is also being saved each time.
|
|
|

|
| [Database- delete log-data] The log file saves all the information about the last playing time of a file, so this file shouldn't be deleted unless its really necessary and you don't need this information anymore.
