Search in date related or numeric fields

1) Search for date related values:

The search for titles according to certain dates can also make the dtabase work a lot easier. I.e. one can easily find newly entered titles, find those titles one has last rated or changed the Tag-information of, or one can find titles that have been played from date dependant playlists.

lastchanged

In the left dropdown list one can find five different dates one can search for. To its right one can enter the period in which it is to be searched.

filedateetc

2) Search in numeric fields:

In addition there are three numeric fields one can search in:

beatsetc

BPM-beats per minute: displays the measured tempo of a title
Size ( byte): displays the file size ( byte)
Length ( sec) : displays the running lentgh of a title ( seconds)

numeric

In some cases it makes sense to search in numeric fields:

For example: if all titles have a valid BPM value and the title collection wants to be narrowed down to a certain tempo. If not all titles have a value - here one can search for those and either rule them out or give them the right values.

Often song files that are damaged show a running length that is zero. Here one can find them and either give them the right running length value( if the file can still be listenend to) or delete them from the database ( if the file is totally corrupted.

Als very small file sizes indicate either jingles or a corrupt file, that of course should be deleted from the database ( the corrupt one) so that it doesn't appear unwantedly in any playlist.
