| Most those who own a huge amount of song files hardly know anymore exactly whats on their drive. Very often it happens that there are many duplicate titles on the PC.

| Moodmixer isn't able to filter duplicate titles whilst generating a playlist- for our software they all look like different titles. Moodmixer can check , if it is the same artist, but not if it's the same title because it solely works with title ID's ( and they are different even when it's the same title) instead of title names.

| But duplicate titles can be filtered via the menu option [Search- Same title + artist] .

| The resulting table shows all duplicate titles. They can now be sorted out, either
|
|
|
| · | by deleting them from the database
|
|
|
|
| (right mouse click into left empty column and choose [Delete song(s) from database] or
|
|
|
| · | by rating them with a preference 0 value (unless you checked the include 0 values box in the Playlist generator) they won't be used for playlists.

| F Tipp: Before sorting out titles, check the bitrate- if you have to choose from two files the file with the higher bitrate is normally in the better quality!
