| Because........... even Moodmixer can be tormented.
| If a selection process is a lot slower than normal, and the reason isn't a very large list it takes its titles from then the cause might be some settings that make it very difficult for Moodmixer to find matching titles.
| To make sure that there always will some music to be played we allowed the Moodmixer to loosen up the settings and rules one by one if it cannot find matching titles. But this means that a selection process has to be reconducted sometimes even more often until a matching title has been found.
| But at first Moodmixer tries to follow all rules and that can make life difficult sometimes.
| Here's an example: You have a title collection that consists of only 10 titles, but you need a play list for 5 days playing non stop. You have choosen the following settings: Z
| Titel blocking is set( the same title cannot be played in sequence.
| The artist blocking is set( the same artist cannot be played in sequence)
| The previous day blocking is set to a delta of 99 minutes( means that a title that has been played the day before is not allowed to be played today at the same time +/- 99 minutes- it is blocked for more than 3 hours)
| In addition you have also set the BPM delta( provided all your files have a bpm value) and this delta might gag Moodmixer even more. If the delta is very small Moodmixer may only select titles that differ the amount stated in bpm from the title before. The + value indicates the loosen-value for this delta.
| Or this scenario: you only want to produce a playlist for 10 days with 1000 titles and have set the previous day blocking- well this means Moodmixer has to check with every title if it has been played in the set time delta the day before- the more titles it hast to check the slower it gets.- But don't worry even a playlist for 24 hours-10 days doesn't take longer than 5 minutes to produce on a 2,4 GHz PC and you have 10 days full of music.
| In general Moodmixer itself knows the best settings for its deltas so only touch them if necessary!
| But if you do change these deltas- don't be surprised if it takes Moodmixer a long time to find titles!
