| Why doesn't XP show my ID-Tags anymore?

| We don't really know. As it happens Windows XP can only display the ID3 v1-Tag anyway. If you have now tagged your soundfiles with the ID3 v2-tag- then somehow the MS Windows XP Explorer cannot display the tag anymore although it is still there.

If you do want to have your tags displayed in the Windows Explorer you will have to deactivate the ID3 v2 tag in any tagging software ( you can uncheck the tag  in the file info dialoge of winamp too!) and once its deactivated the ID3 v1 tag will be displayed again.
