| The Moodmixer is an utility that automatically compiles playlists for any kind of length and purpose:
| 1) A specific set of hours
| 2) For specific dates and a defined set of hours on these dates (i.e. from Tue 03/19/2003 to Fri 03/22/2003 always from 10 am to 5 pm )
| 3) For continous uninterrupted listening( direct home-streaming)
| The basis of these play lists are
| a) The whole library of available music data on your PC
| b) a personally collected set of titles from the library
| c) a collection derived from a search for certain (combined) criteria
| There are different ways how to collect titles. These are the criteria:
| · | all Title informationen found in the ID3 Tags ( ID3v1 and ID3v2)
| · | 5 personalized criteria : Preferences (Favourites ) and 4 other personally selected criteria ( i.e. tempo, danceability, rhythm or moods - whatever you like)
| · | Path name or keywords in the path name / file size / length of mp3
| · | Search for keywords ( also in combination ) in all data fields
| · | Search for dates such as "last played", " edited at" or "scanned into library"
| · | BPM ( beats per minute)
| For a querys all these criteria can be used separately or in combination.
| The compilation of the playlists is calculated by a mathematical algorithm that can partially be edited by the user (such as blocking of title- and artist repeats / blocking of same play yesterday at the same time / BPM check / length check etc)
| This algorithm calculates, depending on the amount of available titles and their set preferences, how often and when a title is to be played.
| This offers highest variation of plays- always according to the users preferences.
| In addition to the criterium "preference" one can profile a title with four other criteria, each with 10 different levels ( i.e. if you use the criterium tempo: from very slow to ultra fast) and the playlist compilation will always respond to the set criteria.
| The profiling of each title can be done
| I) seperately during streaming-time ( continous play )
| II) separately in any available title collection table
| III) as mass-profiling in a collection table
| Finished playlist compilations can be viewed in a play list table or in a graphical mode which shows the sequence of titles as coloured bars that indicate each title's preference value as well as title length and amount of repeats in selected playlist. One also has the opportunity to simply display certain preference values or just show when a spedific title is supposed to be played.
